Community Coach / Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Community Coaches support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities as they participate in community activities, develop life skills, and work toward their personal goals.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting individuals during community activities
• Assisting individuals with developing social and life skills
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Providing person-centered support aligned with the Individual Support Plan (ISP)
• Documenting services and progress notes as required

We are looking for individuals who:

• Are compassionate and patient
• Enjoy working with people
• Are dependable and responsible
• Have strong communication skills
• Are comfortable supporting individuals in community settings

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is helpful but not always required.

Basic Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
