Person-centered supports that promote independence, skill development, and meaningful participation in the community.
Community Coaching provides individualized support to help adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities build independence and develop important life skills in real-life settings.
Through one-on-one support, individuals are encouraged to practice skills that promote confidence, decision-making, and personal growth.
Support may include:
• Developing social and communication skills
• Practicing decision-making and problem-solving
• Building independence in daily activities
• Participating in community experiences
• Strengthening self-advocacy skills
Services are tailored to each individual's goals and are based on their Individual Support Plan (ISP).
Community Coaching
Community Engagement services support individuals in participating in meaningful activities within their communities while building social connections and life experiences.
These services focus on helping individuals feel included, connected, and confident while exploring their interests.
Activities may include:
• Community outings and social activities
• Exploring hobbies and interests
• Volunteer opportunities
• Building friendships and social connections
• Participating in local events and programs
Services are provided in small group settings to encourage social interaction and community involvement.
